Florida and Houston
UNDER 7 runs +100

Do not fear the small number, Oswalt has incredible numbers against Florida in his career, 22 innings 3 runs and 17 Ks and 1.23 ERA. Beckett has incredible numbers against HOU in his career, 1.89 ERA 19 innings 4 runs 25 Ks   with a .121 HOU batting average plus his numbers at home this year are excellent. This number looks real low but do not think twice. Play the under and collect :)

Looking at the rest

Afternoon

New York Mets
+117
to beat St.Louis Cards

Got the win on STL last night but I have to go with the Mets today. Marquis has pitched well on the road this year but I just can't see the Cardinals laying these odds on the road with a mediocre pitcher. This is definitely an even game and both teams are capable of winning. The main guys in the STL line up all hit much better at night, especially Rolen who is .393 night and .278 day. Edmonds is .302 and .250. Have to take a stab at the Mets as a home underdog facing a middle of the road pitcher who hasn't done good against Mets in his career.

Good job ONAJ

Good job ONAJ

I also have the Mets today. That total for the Houston game sure is low. I like your reasoning for the under, but Houston's bats worry me. If Florida wants to win this game, then they will have to keep it low scoring, but Houston's bats are hitting on all cylinders. Where were those bats when they left 16 people on base against the Mets when Clemens was pitching?

GOOD LUCK BRO!

FYI: Marquis is an incredibly talented pitcher that has not put it all together yet....this year looks like he might be doing it. Not saying mets were the wrong side, but I think you underestimate marquis.

thanks for the tip on fla total...

Mack, the Mets were the wrong side today. I have no problem admitting it. As for Marquis, I just feel he is a mediocre pitcher and I think there is a reason Atlanta gave up on him. And they gave up on him at a time when they knew they were going to lose Milwood Glavine and Maddux. ATL knows pitching. This was more of a line play than anything. I just couldn't see betting him as a road favorite against a team he has struggled against. The Mets had a good chance to break out to a big lead in the 1st but let him off the hook and then they let him off the hook against with bases loaded and no outs in the 4th and not scoring after the HBP. When you let a pitcher off the hook early you are asking for trouble later on because you only get so many chances to rattle a pitcher. I like talking about strengths and weakness of pitchers and players so I appreciate your post.

I also bumped up my Florida and Houston under bet to double the normal amount. The line at 7 under -115 is asking for over money. I am very confident this game stays under 7. Hope everyone makes money ;)

Last play after handicapping the night games,

Seattle
-121
to beat Baltimore

This is a play DEFINITELY worth looking at. Seattle playing to avoid the sweep, something that rarely happens at Safeco and Moyer has been awesome against the Birds in his career, he is 14-2  with the BALT hitters batting .236. I liked SEA to begin with to avoid the sweep and after seeing Moyer's success vs BALT in past, this is a play worth making.

GL forum!

Note: The 14-2 mark by Moyer is the best record he has against any team in the majors during his career.

Careful on this play Bro!!

Moyer 14-2 vs Baltimore
Lopez 0-2 vs Seattle.

Line opened at Seattle -139 and now it's -119!!!  What's wrong with this picture? Seems like everyone is on Seattle as well and the line is dropping!!!!!

I am on the other side!

Good luck!!!!!

likin BALT too

likin BALT too

i liked lopez back when he was a reg starter--though i guess theres a reason why he isnt a regular nowadays. moyer too, is good, and can be a quiet, total shutdown starter on occasion. i'm chancin that THESE birds outhit sea here--in a known pitcher friendly ballpark in sea. i thihnhk this'll be the best hitting balt squad he'll have faced. that said, letit be known, SEA is nothin but a play against fro me from here on, until i see something drastic injected into this team--though admittedlly they've turned the corner from their atrocious start. GL and keep up good work.

TJ I know what you mean but I pay more attention to money and line moves in basketball (especially) and football. Baseball is what it is. There is no spread to cover. They have to win, plain and simple. If they were good enough to do it at -139 they will be good enough at -121. I pay more attention to basketball moves because there are so many different outcomes depending on the spread. Baseball is more cut and dry I think. Win or Lose. Period. I definitely thank you for your post because that drop is worth noting regardless. Also, Seattle is the second worst team in baseball so I'm sure some people have hit Baltimore as an underdog here. ;)

Caught Up, great points. Thanks for your reply.:) The more opinions the better. I know BALT is revamped but sometimes it's psychological with the pitcher almost expecting to win because of his past history and he focuses on every hitter.
