i agree really agree if nets win and my theory plays out 1 vs 1 in the finals and 1 vs 2 in the conference finals

Damn its tempting. For Minn to have any chance they have to win this first one. And they know it.
Trouble is Lakers will also want to get off to a good start. They are a differant team away though.
If the Lakers are truly dominant they will beat Minn by 20 in the first game.
Minn has guts though. They are not going to lay down in this game.

Good point Scott! Just think if Fisher didn't hit last last shot with less than .04 seconds, they would be gone. Sometimes they think they can sleepwalk through a series.
Just think this may be the year for Minnesota to play Indiana!

I think it will be a fun series. This game could go the series if the Lakers allow it. However, the Lakers can beat any team on any given day if they want to. Yes, the Lakers think they can sleep walk through a series however, with the talent they have who couldn't.

They are not...........actually they did'nt really blow out Houston or SA in any game........
and remember last year the Lakers beat the T-Wolves in six but I think like the 4th game the Lakers got some incredible calls to win that pivotal game.......
At +270 I would have to put a unit on Minn. I would then hope that Minn wins game 1 or better yet game 1 and 2. You could then play the Lakers for + money and sit back and watch the series. If the Lakers get to - 150 you could still make money.

la 97 Houston 78................Houston was up 48-47 at the half and got outscored 25-9 in the 3rd........you think thats gonna happed often where an NBA team scores 9 points in one quarter.........
la 101 sa 81.............Well lets see La down 2-0 with their whole season on the line........and SA playing in a relax mode and La shoots 57% and 40 free throws to SA 22 ( dont think the refs helped a little with this margin do ya).........
So as you can see these games were far from the kind of blowouts of past Laker teams where they would just dominate from start to finish.........
