MLB - 3:20PM (EST)
The Cards are on a roll right now winning 8 of their last 10 and have one of they best lineups in the league. Today they face a depleted Cubs lineup that will be without Sosa again. Chris Carpenter will take the mound for St. Louis this afternoon. Carpenter has won his last 3 outings and pitched well, especially on the road in 2004.
The Cubs will look to Mark Priors replacement, Sergio Mitre to try and turn things around. Mitre has not been terrible, but he is hittable and should fall victim to the potent Cardinals bats.
Go with St. Louis here on Friday afternoon.
