YTD 33-20 (+1238)
Well, it's a holiday Monday up here. I was on the golf course today for a tourney, and although we didn't get wet, it was still cold and dreary. Then again, I didn't have to work.
In honour of "Victoria Day" (God bless her soul for getting me a day off work), I am going with the Canadian special.......
MONTREAL EXPOS (+105) I like Zach Day. Although his record against the Braves isn't all that impressive (1-2 with an 8.22 ERA lifetime), John Thompson hasn't been that great against the Expos, either (3-5, 4.75 ERA lifetime). I also like the fact that Day has had an extra day's rest and Montreal has been waiting in Puerto Rico for their "home game", while the Braves have had to make the flight from Atlanta.
TORONTO BLUE JAYS (-107) You know what? Barnum and Bailey's would be proud of this act that is going on in the Blue Jay bullpen, but I am hoping Miller can log some innings and get it that far. My tatooed friend has been solid every time asked, and I am looking for the Jay bats to get some swats off John Lackey (3-5 with a 4.83 ERA on the year, 1-1, 5.25 ERA lifetime vs. Toronto).
Rex.....Beware the long sleeves!
(We're gonna have some fun tonight! LOL)
Good Luck tonight,
Sharky
