Hands down, the Partridge Family. Second place, the Archies.

Man I remember those days. I'd watch the P Family every time it came on. Susan Dey with those braces. :brows:

Archies and their song "Sugar".

Remember Bobby Sherman with the damn choker around his neck?

The Osmonds. "One Bad Apple" and Crazy Horses".

yyz, I still have the DeFranco Family 45 of "Heartbeat, it's a love beat. Remember their other hit?.............................."Sweet Loretta".

So long ago.

Fave rock band is Rush but I thought I'd mention a few that haven't been yet.

King Crimson - from the 70's to the present...they still rock. Bruford is the only rock drummer who may be better than Peart.

Ministry - energizes...or if you're emotionally unbalanced, makes you wanna go and kill something.

Marillion - with their first frontman Fish...Genesis (with Peter Gabriel) revisited.

Unfortunately, there aren't many quality rock bands out there now.

since most of the ones I would vote for have been mentioned one that has been left out The Tragically Hip.

many good songs, Road Apples is a good album. probably the bigget band in cdn. ( most albums sold, if you count how many are downloaded.)

thanks

My personal favorite

Roxy Music : They could play any style of music and play it damn well. Bryan Ferry one of the most talented and distinctive vocalists of all time.

Also:

Mott the Hoople
Alice in Chains
The Beatles
Crosby Stills Nash and Young
Black Sabbath
The Senstional Alex Harvey Band
Cream
Korn
Cake
The Stone Temple Pilots
Dick Delicious and the Tasty Testicles ( Do a websearch)

Many more, but these are just some that I still fancy quite a bit

Velvet Revolver have so much potential...Slither is a good lead off single..

I definitely agree, but sometimes wonder if it might be like a team that tries to buy high profile athletes who fails to develop success(see the NY Rangers).

I'd put the over/under on Scott Weiland going back to rehab and relapsing on about 2 weeks.
