Well, I've still got the D-Backs game pending, but worse case scenario, I'm out 103 (can't seem to turn a profit on consecutive nights lately). However, it's frustrating that this figure includes a play against Brian Anderson!!!
It's been a busy week at work, and tomorrow looks much the same, so I'm going to get my play in tonight. I won't be around Friday, as a couple of buddies and I are off to the local track for the "Molson Pace", a $300,000 harness race, where we have "All you can eat, all you drink" passes in the paddock lounge....We're gonna make someone feel the pain of these passes.
Anyway, just playing one for Friday:
OAKLAND ATHLETICS (-121) Cleveland finally snapped their losing skid on Thursday by scoring 9 runs and earning a victory over the Seattle Mariners and Gil Meche. Problem is, the Athletics finally remembered how to hit themselves by putting up 15 runs at Fenway, and oh yeah, this isn't Gil Meche!
Barry Zito has struggled this year, posting a 5.56 ERA and a 3-3 record, but has excelled in the past versus the Indians, going 2-0 with a 1.15 ERA. On the other hand, credit must be given to Cliff Lee, who has started 5-0 for Cleveland, however, all good things must come to an end........
Have a great Friday,
Sharky
