Spybot found 5 entries, DSO Exploit, in my system. Each time, I have Spybot fix the selected problems. However, upon running Spybot again, it found the exact same 5 entries. I have done this for at least 10 times, but I get the same 5 entries back.

How do I go about permanently destroying these entries?

sounds like you're some way not fixing the problems it is finding. when it's done, make sure they are all clicked and then hit the fix problem button.

I did check the items found, but after Spybot fixed the problems, I did another check and destroy. The exact same 5 items came back.

Same shit happens to me with spybot

Try the free version of spysweeper

http://www.webroot.com/wb/products/spysweeper/index.php

I just used the recommended WEBROOT spysweeper. It found a few folders and subjects. I deleted them all then went back to SpyBot. The exact same 5 DSO Exploit entries showed up. I deleted them again, but again, they come right back when I run SpyBot again.

Help.

In spybot, it makes a back-up in case you delete something you shouldn't. After you click for spybot to repair, then click recovery, you will see the same entries, highlight them and click purge. If they return after that, then that means that the exploits are on your machine as .exe files and reinitialize themselves each time you delete. If that is happening, then you have to track down and manually delete the .exe file that is the culprit.
