Well, Pedro killed me with the chalk he totes (or was it Vlady that killed me??), but still a good day on Wednesday thanks to a couple of big come from behind efforts from the Mets, well, Todd Zeile, and the A's and a strong performance from Ted Lilly.

I like a couple for Thursday night now, so here goes......

NEW YORK METS (+102) Momentum (n) The force possessed by a body in motion. I'll go with this theory and take the Mets, who return home after sweeping Philadelphia in their new park. On the other hand, the Marlins head for Queens after being swept at home by the Reds, and send AJ Burnett to the mound after a 13 month absence. I also like the fact Burnett is 0-4 lifetime vs. the Mets, and even Marlin manager Jack McKeon was quoted as saying of Burnett, "I don't expect miracles, but he has to get his feet wet sometime". I think this play is good enough for the girls I go out with......

ANAHEIM ANGELS (-142) In continuing with this "momentum" theme, I think the Angels can build on their strong performances versus the BoSox and hand Cliff Lee his first defeat of the season. Escobar has pitched well versus the Indians, and I just don't trust this Cleveland team, especially on the road.

I am looking at a couple more, but still undecided.

Good Luck,

Sharky

(Friday, where the hell are you???? )
