YTD 47-29 (+1882)
Well, the Mets and Angels held up their ends of the bargain, and made Thursday a good one, but, I don't think I've ever been so glad to see Friday......
The only problem about today, however, is this baseball card that I've been looking at. I could make an argument on both sides of a lot of these games, and other games just didn't leave me with a good feeling. Pretty ugly, in my opinion. In fact, I think it would take several beers before I could find anything here attractive enough to hop on......
However, Aubie pointed one out that has the potential to be worthy of a second glance, so I am going to "Play any team that has just finished a series with the Yankess".....
BALTIMORE ORIOLES (-142) This could be a close game, but I am going to give Bedard a chance here as the Orioles return home and look to end a 3 game losing skid. In fact, the last six losses Baltimore has suffered have been at the hands of the Yankees, and although playing much better, the Devil Rays can never be mistaken for the Evil Empire. Tampa Bay just took the last two games at the Metrodome against a Twins team who traditionally struggles against them, and do you really think the Devil Rays are going to win three games in a row on the road? I'll play Aubie's trend, lay the 142 and say "No".
I think I'll be out and about much of the night, but best of luck to everyone tonight.
Back to the grind for a few more hours......
