I am going to take a shot with the pirates as the big dog this afternoon. they have no success against prior, but i think the price is awfly steep for a guy coming off the DL, even if it is mark prior. Also, the Pirates play substantially better on the road and if you saw the series last weekend, there is a lot of bad blood between these clubs. The Pirates did not hit the entire Stl Series, so i am taking a chance that their bats will wake up. So far this season, when they get cold, the breakout game is huge, I'm taking a shot that today is it.

Safest play is over though, every game between them this far has gone over............:thumb:

A little rational for the Diamondbacks. This is the same matchup from Sunday night which was won by the Dodgers 3-0 at Chavez Ravine. From watching the game, you could see that Casey Fossum is coming on. Hestarted the year on the DL and has looked real good in his last two starts, just gotten no run support. He actually may have outpitched Ishii last sunday, but didn;t get any runs........I am going to take a shot on him, seems like the d-backs are swinging hot bats lately, so maybe they can put it togeher for Fossum and get him his first win of the season.
