My kids mother, my ex, calls abruptly and demands that I wake our kids up right away so she can pick them up. I guess that it was decided at the last minute that her and her friends are going out for coffee this morning. When she arrived, I asked her what about breakfast for the kids. She turned around and said, "they'll eat later b/c they don't eat that much for breakfast anyway." I in return tell her to go ahead and have coffee and I'll keep the kids and feed them breakfast and she can come by and get them when she's done. Then she tells me no because the coffee shop is already near her house and she doesn't want to make the extra trip since she was already at my place. Now, my daughter is crying b/c she wants to eat and it doesn't seem to fade that selfish bitch one bit!!!!!! Am I just being too overprotective or do I have a reason to complain?

I don't have a good answer for you chopsticks. I've gone through what you are going through now.
Ex and I hate each other. She would go out of her way to punish me in whatever fashion she could.
Once called me up and had to meet me. It was so important. She claimed that someone called her house and made sexist remarks to my daughter and wanted to know if it was me!. I'm not perfect. But to accuse a father of something like that. It literally made me sick to my stomach. I could have killed her.
It's all their plan to stick the knife in and twist it as often as they can.
What I always tried to do was think of the children first. You do the same as well as you can and although you may be pissed, the kids will be the better for it.
Today, I head out to go to my daughter's birthday party. Ex will be there. After the years have passed we can smile at each other but I still hate the bitch.

Now that I've got a chance to cool down, I guess I did get a little overzealous of my children. Fortunately, we share joint custody of our children. But it's little chit that she does that just gets underneath my skin. For example, this one is the zenith on top of the pyramid, she smokes in the car with the kids. And when I tell her of it, she tells me that she's an adult and can do what she wants. Now, how fuhking selfish is that? It's not as if my son doesn't have allergy problems to begin with. Everyone of our friends says that she's a great person, but they don't know her like I know her. It doesn't sink into her fat head that when she picks the kids up, they cry and don't want to go home with her, but want to stay with their father. If I could afford it, I would take her azz back to court and file for full custody of my children...Thanks for the responses fellas
Now, on the smoking issue....I would certainly make a huge scene in public to embarrass her. That is so detrimental to a child's life. Pisses me off every time I see something like that.
