Recent collector of mini-helmets and pocket pros but have always been interested in football uniform designs and logos.




My fave helmets are:

NFL - Seahawks...used to be Eagles before Seattle intro'd the new ones.

NFLe - Amsterdam

CFL - B.C. Lions

NCAA IA - San Jose State

NCAA IAA - Brown

I guess that Redskins "R" logo stood for retarded. Lombardi changed their helmets from that classic one. When the retros were used for home games during Spurrier's initial season, they really looked cool.

The worst helmet, in the NFL, has gotta be the Browns. It still resembles the muddy field of old Municipal Stadium.

And Senor, you're a better man than I. Maybe USC should slap that on their helmets.
