YTD 47-30 (+1740)
Well Guys, Friday was one of those days I should have just simply stayed away from, but I saw enough in the Orioles to make a play. It obviously wasn't the best decision, but I'm looking to get back on track for Saturday......
SEATTLE MARINERS (+107) Although the Mariners are having trouble in pretty near all facets of the game, I am going to give them a try in this situation, where Ryan Franklin takes his 5-2 record and 2.59 ERA lifetime versus Chicago up against Scott Schoeneweis' 1-6 (9.07 ERA) lifetime record against the Mariners. I still don't think the White Sox like being out west, so I feel this is a good play at Safeco......
FLORIDA MARLINS (+101) I caught the Mets earlier in the series when they were hot, but this is a team that can't keep the temperature elevated for too long, and I can sense the tide turning with these two clubs. If you are willing to throw out the last start of Tommy Phelps, he is pitching pretty well, and I
just don't see Matt Ginter remaining unfeated in this one.
ST. LOUIS CARDINALS (-115) The Cards won at home Friday night and I look for Jason Marquis to keep things going for St. Louis, as they look to make up ground in the NL Central. I don't trust Tim Redding, and I am going to go with the team playing better ball right now.
I have one more I am looking at, and I may add it before my golf tourney tomorrow.....
