NOT SO FAST MY FRIEND, THE TARK AND UNLV:D NOW WE CAN ADD OUR STATE OF PA. SINCE I WAS BORN IN AGH IN PITTSBURGH AGAINST OHIO AND REALLY SMOKE THEM:eek: Also in the pa-ohio fb and hoops all-star game pa smokes them almost every year, lasy year in fb though Ohio hs fb all-stars did give pa one hell of a ass kicking. But i must say i even loved the big red mac. of the 70's damn Ed you left off dan dressen, he could hit and no man could pack a chew as big as Dan:eek:

This is a fun thread but honest have seen many fb and baseball hs players growing up in a sports family and then being in fl which has speed guys in fb hs but Pa and ohio fb is just unreal , to many teams for pa to go through but have been to masslen games, cardinal mooney, princton, moller, and canton Mc where i have a cousin who is a hoops coch there, and canton timkon. these 2 states along with northern wv make up a lot of top players who go to mcih, osu, wvu, and other big east and sec schools and cinncy will soon be in the mix being in the big east. big east will rule college hoops and football won't miss a step just will take a few years for others to see that. so all 3 are tops in hs sports, not boosting but if any of you know anything about coaching you can't fight this. PROVEN FACT ABOUT THE TRI STATE REGION

Fletcher:

That brought back memories. How's this. Austintown Fitch High School. Wasn't there a Struthers High School also in the Youngstown area. Also Warren Harding High School. For you non-Ohioans, Paul Brown got his start at Massilon High School. Don Shula at John Carroll University in Cleveland.

I don't know what it is about western Pennsylvannia but, for a while, you guys sprouted some pretty good quarterbacks. I know Montana and Marino are from that area. Maybe Marinovich? Anyone else.

Must be either the Latrobe drinking water or the Iron City Beer. Oh yeah, and the high school football between Ohio and Pennsylvannia is some of the best in the country. I know Texas and California are also great.

In the Cleveland area and in Texas, friday night high school football is like a religion. Northern Ohio had Cleveland St. Ignatius as national champs for quite a stretch in the 90's and southern Ohio had Cincinnati Moeller High School in the 80's.

Trivia question: Name the Moeller High School coach who went on to be the head coach of a major college program without being an assistant. Probably too easy of a question.

Oh well

Won't tell but clue N.Dame was his first college job;) forgot about warren harding and another school washinton court house and in d III fb for get it the purple radiers, and for many years youngstown state was a 1 aa power house. One of a few things we agree on the tri state puts out some great players in all sports, because no beach and shit to mess you up, sports all year around, people want to see a field in fb they need to go see moller on a fri night. ;)

ps i really do like cinncy the city just like to bust your chops, sometimes it and philly and pittsbugh gets a bad rep but hard working people with family values, fairmont, morgentown subs of pitt and hunniington are all nice places, not bad at all for jobs and family life. hell of a lot better then this slime of a over growen town called a city.

Ah yes, Washington Courthouse, home of Mr. Schlicter. Hear he is in prison somewhere around Indianapolis. Too bad. Hell of a talent wasted to a serious disease.

You know Fletcher, I get kinda bored here in the Queen City. I think a little Las Vegas here and a little Cincinnati there might help both of our living environments. I get tired of the conservative, grounded hitler youth around here and sounds like you get tired of the secular, no holds barred, wacko's out there.

It was scarry watching the owner right after the race was over. Thought he was going to do a Reagan right there on camera.

EXACTLY what I thought. Guy looks like he is at death's door, and it looked like the race was going to do him in.
