Here is my concern? Any suggestions would be appreciated. I have a co-worker who is a jerk, no one likes him. I can't stand him and he makes snide remarks to me and I usually counter with some of my own in a more subtle fashion. What I would really like to do to this person is take him out to the parking lot and beat the f#@%in shit out of him; however, I know that if I resort to this level I one, would have to find a new job quickly doing it only when I am planning on leaving my current one, and two I quite possibly could have charges pressed against me, and three, I really don't think this is a good remedy being that I would lose the respect of some people at this company.

So, what should I do? Any solutions would be appreciated!

i would just go up to him and say 'hey i dont like you, you better watch yourself, and i have the death sentence on 12 systems'

sorry a little quote from Star Wars, i would just honestley say ,hey dude i really don't like you and neither does anybody else, so just leave me alone' and maybe he will. who knows. ive done it to people before and it may sound stupid, but it worked for me.

If you even were to do it, then you said you would wait until you were about to leave. At that point, you are almost done ever dealing with this guy. If you choose to beat him up, there is a good chance he will sue you, and even when you leave the job you will have to deal with this guy for an extended period of time when he has you in court. I know it's a hard pill to swallow but be the better man and swallow your anger. Try what kdogg suggested, tell him you don't like him and to keep his distance in the time being.

This is a really really easy question.

File a complaint with your supervisor saying that they guy was hitting on you. Say he got you alone and that he was coming on to you and made you feel uncomfortable. It's basically your word against his. Who cares what happens. Word will get around to his co-workers and he will look extremely stupid. Then if he hits you, then you can sue. Its a win win situation and you can't ever get in trouble for your word against his.

LMAO!!

It's the old "he wants my cock" strategy.

Many people really hate when others use their own tactics against them in these situations. Whatever he is doing to aggravate you, return the favor and act oblivious about it. It may frost his ass especially when you come across in a passive aggressive fashion (I know this pissed me off). It's a will power thing and you need to have more.

I know it's completely immature and childish but then again....why are we in this forum:D

More worse might be you dropping the horse's ass and getting sh*t canned while he keeps his gig and looks like a hero.

I have a co-worker who is a jerk, "no one likes him". If no one likes him it should be easy to relay that to someone in authority as a group. Hell probably the boss don`t like him either if it`s that obvious.

Good luck.:)

Thanks for the replies

Thanks for the replies

Thanks for all of the replies. No longer will I try to be nice to this guy after he has continually pisses me off, I'll just be a passive-agressive jerk and make snide remarks back to him. Also, since no one likes him if his attitude escalates I may gather some of my other co workers and bring the issue in front of my Director of Advertising pointing out specifics. I think this will be the best way to get his attention and possibly even get him fired  .

Thanks again,

Going to your boss probably will end up in a "he said, he said" situation, which ends up making both look bad. I'm always in favor of fawking the guys work up so he gets himself fired. That way your problem is solved and you dont look bad. I dont know what kind of risks you are willing to take or how low you will stoop, but if you are willing to beat the shit out of him, I imagine you dont like him. A friend of mine got a guy reprimanded in a similar situation. Waited until no one was around at night, took a big magnet and ran it up and down both sides of the guys computer.
