YTD 59-34 (+2615)
Big comeback from the Angels last night sure saved my day. I just hope we didn't wake a sleeping giant and throw my thinking for the last play here for a loop.
I am struggling with interleague play so far, but I can't complain overall, as a lot of luck has gone my way......
Two plays for Friday night. That's it. No going back (even after a few beers Cooz)
MONTREAL EXPOS (+120) I really can't believe I just uttered those words again, but I like the chances of Livan Hernandez, and the suddenly explosive Montreal offense. I think the confidence of the Expo bats should be elevated after scoring 15 combined runs in the double header in Kansas City. On the other hand, the Mariners have not scored in their last 21 innings, and Hernandez is probably not the guy to be facing when looking to beat a slump. I'm more than interested.....
CHICAGO CUBS (-103) I guess this is sort of on the same basis as the above play.....One offense is struggling immensely facing a tough, tough pitcher. I like the chances of Greg Maddux and the Cubs in this one against John Lackey and an Angel offense that is having trouble getting anything going at all. The Cubs should also look to build some momentum and get further above the five hundred level after a big win against the rival Cardinals on Thursday.
Proceed with caution if looking at these, and best of luck to everyone on Friday...........FRIDAY!!!!
