I have a 12 year old bottle of tequila from a trip to Mexico(never opened, still has the worm). I am not a big tequila fan(obviously). Does this stuff go bad with age? Get better? Should I give it away, or throw it out?

Most (100% blue agave or otherwise) tequila will go bad after 3-4 years. Well, it doesnt "go bad" exactly, but it will start to taste closer to whiskey than the sweeter taste of a tequila. Why not crack it open and give it a little sip.

Down here nobody lets tequila sit around for any length of time. Crack that sucker open and take a sip. Mix it with Squirt. That's how the locals do it. Only the gringos drink it straight.
