That picture shows former Soviet President Mikhail Gorbachev paying his respect to the late President Ronald Reagan. Very significant if you know about the end of the Cold War.
When they were both in office they were without a doubt the 2 most powreful men in the world and literally had the fate of millions of people in their hands. Instead of declaring war on each other they worked out the differences of the two countires without killing anyone in the process like the two intelligent men they were reguardless of what every late 80's, early 90's Hollywood Russia VS USA movie would have you believe. I doubt in this day and age you will find two leaders of any two countries who would work out major problems they way they did, it is much easier to declare war and beat the shit out of each other and accomplish nothing.

OK..........I know who Mikhail Gorbachev is...........I have to be honest I have not seen him in years...........and from that view he just did'nt look like him to me...thats why it didnt ring a bell........now that you guys pointed out who it is..........I can recieve my "dumbass of the week award"
Just tell me where and when to pick it up............seriously though I graduated from HS in 1980 and college in 1986 so it would have been kind of hard to not know about the cold war........USA vs USSR...communism vs capitalism......Reagan vs. Gorby..etc

and yes.........I know woody has passed on..........

Actually Maverick is correct. It is Woody Hayes. The individual inside the casket was a former Clemson football player.
