YTD 59-37 (+2277)
I'm bleeding, Boys. I'm bleeding bad.......I've got to visit the funeal home on Sunday AM, a buddy is having a NASCAR party, and a local harness racing track is having opening day, so I probably won't be around much on Sunday. Regardless, I am making the following plays (I know, I know....this isn't going to be pretty....)
NEW YORK METS (-121) "If at first you don't succeed"........I thought Al Leiter would help get me going on Saturday, but apparently, that didn't happen, so now I am leaving my hard earned money in the left hand of Tom Glavine. The Royals have never faced Glavine, and I don't think they're going to like what they see.
SAN DIEGO PADRES (+181) David Wells at this price? Where do we sign up?? I love Wells' career numbers versus the Yankess (16-8 with a 3.05 lifetime ERA in 198 innings pitched), and although I would take Vazquez on my team anytime, I really believe Wells is the play here.
LOS ANGELES DODGERS (+235) What?? I know, I know......I've been up for quite a while, and I've been drinking beer for almost the same amount of time, but I think this play is worth a shot......Hideo Nomo is 3-1 with a 2.84 ERA in 4 games lifetime versus the Red Sox, and Pedro is towards the other end of the spectrum with a 1-3 lifetime mark vs. the Dodgers.
Have a great Sunday Everyone,
Sharky
