Time for a little record keeping, as things are starting to slide.....
YTD 60-39 (+2177)
Sun 1-2 (-100)
April 2-1 (+85)
May 38-26 (+1260)
June to date 20-12 (+832)
L4 Days 2-6 (-438) :nono:
I can't say as I'll miss these interleague match-ups when they come to an end, so I'm going to be a little more careful in the next few days and probably won't be playing many games until we get back to traditional league play. I'm colder than a whore's "hello" right now, but going with one NL game for Monday:
HOUSTON ASTROS (-130) Both teams enter this game coming off victories, however, Houston did it in 9 innings in Wisconsin, while the Cubbies had to play 15 in California....Roger Clemens is looking to take his win total for the year to double digits, and he has already beaten the Cubs this year, and shows a 2.03 career ERA against them in 13 innings pitched. On the other hand, Mark Prior should improve off his last start versus the Cardinals, when he didn't get out of the fourth inning, but it is only his third start of the season, and the Astros bats will be another tough test. Prior's record against Houston is mediocre at best in 42 IP, and I'm not sure how many pitches he will be ready to throw, and also, should he get in trouble, the Cubs bullpen used everyone in the 15 innings in Anaheim on Sunday.
Best of Luck to everyone, and have a good Monday....(if such a thing exists?) :thefinger Monday.......
