Thome hit #400 at home in the 1st innning. They will get the game in even if it means waiting 4 hours. They don't want that homer erased.

Statistics cannot be erased...so, even if the game is postponed the homer still counts. Also, once the game is started the umpires make the call.

Wilson, I'm not gonna start an argument with you, because I'm not 100% sure. But I am 99% sure, and almost 100 that statistics are erased. I was listening to the Philly announcers on mlb tv, and they said the same thing, that it will be erased.

If I'm wrong I apologize, but I don't think I am.

Okay, I really need a life.
RULE 10.3
CALLED AND FORFEITED GAMES (e) (1) If a regulation game is called, include the record of all individual and team actions up to the moment the game ends, as defined in Rules 4.10 and 4.11. If it is a tie game, do not enter a winning or losing pitcher. (2) If a regulation game is forfeited, include the record of all individual and team actions up to the time of forfeit. If the winning team by forfeit is ahead at the time of forfeit, enter as winning and losing pitchers the players who would have qualified if the game had been called at the time of forfeit. If the winning team by forfeit is behind or if the score is tied at the time of forfeit, do not enter a winning or losing pitcher.

relevant part
"If a game is forfeited before it becomes a regulation game, include no records. Report only the fact of the forfeit. "

Can they postpone the game for a lter date with 3.5 innings already played?

If the Umps call the game, will it go down as a win for Cin?

No--the game has to go 5 innings to become official

If the over has already come through after 5 innings, it counts. But an under is not considered a win if it it doesn't go the full 9 innings.

I'd like to have action at your book. I'm 100 percent positive that Nevada and most major online books including a majority of the sponsors here will no action the total.

Heres pinnacles rule on that:
When wagering on total runs (over/under) the game must go 9 innings (8.5 if the home team is ahead) to have action. If a game is called or suspended in extra innings, the score will be determined after the last full inning unless the home team scores to tie, or takes the lead in the bottom half of the inning, in which case the score is determined at the time the game is called.
