Ok gonna put in my 2 cents.....
I think if you do the work anyway.......... and you have people that are willing to pay for your opinion , ...Hell why not ?
I've been betting for years and have had a measure of success (overall). .....BUT ...would be about 85%+ if I had faded my picks posted on Jack's site....I am amazed by the amount of losers! (and I really liked em AND played them myself!) Hell, I might even be a better fade than Jack Price?
Maybe "Leonards Losers" needs an employee and will contact ME!

Good luck on your decision, but apparently you have already made it. But I will chime in with my thoughts anyway...
I opened my own service about 3 years ago and it has prospered, not only becuase of my selections but because of clientele. I even went through an expansion last year and took on 2 new capper's to help with the workload etc....this is the good stuff.
Sure there is stress out there understadning it's not just your money you are playing with, but with someone's potential mortgage payment. Those are the clients you worry most about, some because you may not know that is what they are using it for, or why they need a winner. You must continually focus on your handicapping, your plays, your style and then hope your hardwork falls the right way. (Yeah I said Hope, because even the best handicapping cannot guarantee a WINNER!)
Then it brings the question why have a service, or why nuy a service?
From my standpoint the majority of the clients mention that they like the confirmation of their own handicapping, or they know that research and hard work went into it and it wasn't a flip of the coin. Let's face it forums are full of
a) Hard working a handicappers,
b) Coin Flip handicapper's
c) people who handicap handicapper's and ride people in streaks (Which is very dangerous, becasue typically as soon as they get on teh streak is done, and they wagered too much hoping the streak would continue one last game.)
So you may choose a forum for information, camaraderie, or handicapping selections...but those joining a service do it to save time (because they don't have it to handicap, and do not like the (b,c) answers above, and are hlooking for some consistency or someone too blame in hard times. Either way there are so many persepectives out there on why to do it, and why not to. That is what makes it a personal decision right or wrong, and how passionate you are about your stance.
I think my paragraphs might be a bit jumbled so my apologies but one should not like or dislike a person because of their decision to become or join a service.

I know you saw and read my post on how you attacked and called me almost every name in the book, you were the first and biggest maybe not first but biggest for over a month giving me shit, now you are slow on the draw with your response back, i have forgave but not forgot because not one single time did you say I was wrong for what i said, or even i am sorry for what i said.
That my friend steames me more then anything, did i bash you , call you a scam hell no. I even explained how it can be in this business with so many scammers over 70 maybe 75 % of services are scams and could care less about their clients, and dog knows that and even said it more or less. I just don't like the pot calling the kettle black which you did in my case.

You hit me hard and heavy you know my wording by now did not have to, cuse me out but you were all over me, I have a few people on here that can tell you if they choose not what i want, that i treat each with respect and if we have a bad week or 2 it eats the hell out of me, Also if they want to speak up which is up to them , they will tell you i screen every investor to make sure we are a good match, i do -not want a guy on the end of his rope because i could be the last pull. You just don't know. But you did hit me hard and i like you so no slamming on my part just want you to understand, i respect you and it can be very stressful. you are not going to steal investors from me, i am on radio, run newspaper adds and also this upcoming year in the works a national network show 15 markets still in the works, but It is stress trust me, I think you could do it if you can handle the stress.
Like i said if some of my clients want to step up and tell the truth that is fine but i would not ask them to. It is up to them i work more at this then i did as a coach and i don't need a 2nd or 3rd person to help me out, that just cluster fuks things even more then they can get. Benn there done that and almost lost a good friend over it.

I must admit, I had a horrible experience a couple of years ago with a pay sight named vegassportspics.com (sorry to post that name jack but I would like to bust their balls and let everyone know what a dishonest operation they have.) These guys are a complete joke....stay away from them and all pay sights period!! There are many good people on here who do this thing we call handicapping.....many good people here who probably spend a lot more time and effort in researching games and picks than 99% of these pay sights.

i am very disappointed that you have made this decision.i really was hoping for another year to try a new pay site that would lose their ass.2 yrs ago it was the clown that likes the indians and last yr it was the infamous percentage player who started the site with 4 cappers.{they have made a comeback from being down 600 percent to being down only 435 percent}sure hope you change your mind and go pay.honesty and integrity go only so far.seriously,all kidding aside,you seem to have great character and i wish you the best and will follow all of your plays.thanks
