Really overestimated the Giants pitching last night, but onward and upward......

Off to the company golf tournament this AM, and didn't want to get my azz out of bed, so this will be short and sweet. Just one play:

CLEVELAND INDIANS (-104) I will take Jake Westbrook in this situation....His ERA is 3.38 on the road, and in his last 3 games he is 2-0 with a 1.13 ERA in 24 IP. The Indian bats are also swinging well, and I just don't see this slowing down against Paul Byrd, making his first start since Tommy John surgery in July of last year.
I am sure he will be on a pitch count, and this Brave pen is already overworked.

Have a good day, Fellas.

:topic: Blackman - If you read this today, hope you had a good time at Shea, and check out the Dutch today....I really think they're trying to avoid the pressure of having to win their last game, so I'm looking for a good performance today. ;)

Good luck Sharky -- and yes Shea was a good time last night, always fun to see a walk off HR.

As for the Dutch I agree --- really like teams who are looking to put themselves into the quarters early so they can rest in the third game. But of course I went with this plan and layed the chalk on France

GOOD LUCK SHARKY. I LIKE CLEVELAND MYSELF. ATLANTA HAS ONLY AVERAGE 3.2 RUNS IN THEIR LAST FIVE GAMES. I DON'T THINK THEY WILL BREAK OUT OF THAT AGAINST WESTBROOK.

Sorry Guys.....Wasn't a real good day. Sorry for giving a bum steer to anyone and I steered Blackman in the wrong direction with the Dutch in soccer, but I threw a 69 at the them in the company golf tourney today, so, although it didn't really help anyone here, it makes things a little better for the day. ;)

I like a few for tomorrow in looking at them briefly, so hopefully we can get some winners in the morning.

Sorry Boys,

Don't worry about the Dutch man ---- I know very little about soccer but had a hell of a time watching that one briefly on some webcast. Still like Greece tommorrow --- but again I know nothing about it.

As for the 69 I'm very impressed

And for this baseball stuff I'm really laying low on the interleague right now --- what I've noticed to work earlier this year just doesn't seem to apply to these matchups, so I'm trending lightly. Can't wait until we can get back to the divisional action.

Thanks Boiler and Blackman.......I was even better on the back. ;) lol. Haven't played that well in a while. :D

Blackman...I don't know that much about soccer either, however, one of the major sports networks in Canada have been carrying the tournament, and I've been watching it, and had a bit of luck. I'm going to play Greece myself and hope for the best. I too am waiting for the traditional league match ups to return to baseball and hopefully things make a little more sense at that time. Nothing wrong with sitting out a bit at this time of year.

See you guys for some Sunday efforts,

Sharky
