Never thought I'd see the day to be able to make a play on Randy Johnson at -120. I absolutely LOVE this play. The Padres can't hit lefties (or anyone for that matter) and knowing Bruce Bochy I'm sure he's going to sit Giles and Klesko, not that that's a big minus the way they are hitting right now but their replacements are a huge downgrade. I know wells is pitching for SD and has been pitching extremely well the last few games but he gets absolutely no run support from the punchless Pads (2 runs last three games) and with the make shift line up I'm sure Bochy is throwing out there this points to a strong play on Arizona. If you are a believer in the "due factor" coming into play (which I'm not) this is the perfect time to make a play on Arizona having lost the last 5 games and there big stopper on the mound.

Three plays:
Arizona Johnson -120 (HUGE)

AZ/SD Under 7 (Under is 6-0 in the Padres last six home games, two good pitchers and two week hitting offenses, especially versus lefties)

Arizona/Texas (CWS) - Parlay

love these three plays, GL.

Watcjing this AZ offense for the last couple of days makes me think that if SD scores 2 runs they might win. On the other hand SD can't hit there way out of a paper bag either Pathetic!! GL to you:shrug:

I really think the offenses won't come into play here just going with the better pitcher and having watched RJ treat the Pads like little leaguers many times in the past really like the price here. I'm sure AZ will find a way to score a couple of runs and don't think the Pads get more than a few singles today.
GLTA ;)

Final Score = Arizona -1 Pads -2 :D

If you are backing AZ huge, I hope you are wrong about the final score you posted.:poke

that would be my sad attempt at humor.:)
-1 (negative) is actually higher than -2 (negative) therefore making the Dbacks the winners. ;)

San Diego is 12-8 vs LHP in the last 20 vs lefties. Arizona is 5-15 in the last 20 games vs LH starting pitching.

That would seem to favor SD...

I agree that the under may be the best way to play this game.

GL to all...

as i understand it, wells is pitching MUCh better on road than home this year. that then, favors ARZ again, but woulod hafta say in either case the und looks like the play. heres hoping doesnt come down to ARZ bullpen, pushing it over. GL

I looked at this play as well and couldn't believe the line. The Padres just about killed me last few times but man R Johnson at -120. Makes you wonder. Remember, if something is too good to be true then it probably is.

? Arizona is 2-8 in their last 10 overall.
? SD is 5-2 in the last seven meetings.
? Arizona is 6-18 against left-handed starters.
? SD is 16-8 (+10.2 Units) against ARIZONA over the last 3 seasons at home.

I would pass or play very light.

Best of luck tonight.

don't forget these:
? San Diego is 3-7 in Wells' last 10 starts.
? Road team is 7-3 in Hirschbeck's last 10 BHP.
? San Diego is averaging 2 runs p/game over Wells last five starts

I know this, San Diego's line up will be full of scrubs tonight. Never a sure thing but with Johnson going tonight I like D'back's chances. I'd like to think the under is a better play but don't think starters go nine and who know's what happens once it's handed over to the pens.
