After a recent slump that has Zippy Chippy feeling bad for me I am gonna try it again at MNR tonight. May only have time to post the first race which goes in 20 mins, but I really like the 8 horse Smokin City Sue. Lots of reasons to throw down on this one and currently the price is a playable 5-1, should get close to that at post time because the crowd will chase the speed figure on the 6 horse.

Win bet only on the 8 horse.

At 7 mins to post the price is climbing on our 8 horse, if it continues to go toward 10-1 I would back her up with a place bet, price justifies it.

And I am sure this is the last I'll be able to post tonight, and it may be a good thing because I am gonna throw hard earned money down on the worst jockey ever to ride a horse but I think this horse can drag him across the finish line first, the 9 horse Final Table. He looks to be the speed of the speed here in a 4.5F turf race, unless he absolutly hates the grass they are gonna have to run him down to win this one and I just don't see that much late speed in the field, in fact my numbers have him way ahead of the few horses that might close here.

4 mins to post and still double digit odds on this one.

Billy Wilson was riding at Thistledown when I was a kid back in the early '70s when my dad used to take me to thistledown.

Damn guy has to be pushing 70 now and why he continues to ride is beyond me. Don't feel too bad, I too am guilty of tossing a couple of bucks on his mounts.
