Anybody else grow up with this game in the early 70's?

Honest to God, we played so much we eroded the numbers off the wooden dice.

Back then you only got one major league game on the TV a week so you had to use your imagination alot. Players were just names in a box score. We played tournaments, seasons, World series, whatever. Played it all winter long along with SI Football.

Loved those games.

Nope but have been playing strat-o-matic baseball for over 20 years now.

Had a Strato- game when I was 10 (69'season teams)

Then when I was older we formed a draft league and played 160 games a year, each team. Plus playoffs. Lasted 9 years then not enough time. Learned alot about baseball and strategy by doin that.
