YTD 69-53 (+1656)
Tues 1-3 (-214)

A couple for Wednesday:

ST. LOUIS CARDINALS -1.5 (+114) I don't like doing this, but I am going to make an exception and make this my first run line play of the year. Okay, so that said, just what in hell is going on here? The Pirates had the worst home record in the league entering this series (even worse than the Expos who would kill for a home), while the Cardinals easily boast the best road record in the majors. So, again, I repeat, just what in hell is going on here?? I am looking for things to return to "normal" and the Cardinals to come out swinging to avoid the sweep. Also, check out the career numbers of Matt Morris versus the Bucs.....He has only given up 15 ER in 77.2 IP. 77.2 IP! I think the Cards bats are also sitting on an offensive explosion after only scoring one run in 18 innings in Pittsburgh, and face Kip Wells, whom they hit pretty hard earlier in the year, and is sporting an ERA approaching 9 in his last three starts.

EXPOS / PHILLIES over 9.5 (-107) I hope I'm not a day late (and thus more than a dollar short) on this one, but the Phillies are absolutely tearing the cover off the ball and the Expos are actually putting some runs on the board as well (averaging 6.75 runs L4 games) and let's not forget the numbers that Devil Ray reject Paul Abbott is sporting on the season.....2-7 with a 6.42 ERA. On the other hand, Zach Day gets the nod for Montreal, and although he shut the Phillies out earlier in the year, he did give up 9 hits that day, and he has struggled lately to find the strike zone......I still think Wednesday's batting practice is scheduled to start once the words "Play Ball" are hollared. ;)

Good Luck,

Sharky

GL with both plays tomm Sharky. :) I do like that Cards play but I have a feeling everyone and their mammas are gonna be on them tomm & I hate when that happens. And it looks like we may be butting heads on the total. Zach Day has been an under machine this year ;)

Good luck Sharky --- think the Phillies over is especially strong based on the way they have been hitting as of late. Looking at the Cards right now might be with you on that one.

 Ummmm...........What the hell was that in Pittsburgh??

I think I've got one more play left in me for June:

BLUE JAYS / DEVIL RAYS over 9 (+105) Towers has pitched pretty well since getting his starting position back when tatoo boy went down with a hammy problem, but he could be ripe for the picking here, as I'm looking for the D-Rays to get some revenge and come out swinging after last night's shutout. Tampa sends Brazelton to the mound, and given his previous experiences with the Blue Jays (0-2, 8.18 ERA), some runners should find their way to home.

Well fellas, time for a :drinky: . Don't have to work on Thursday. :canada1 Day.

Good Luck tonight,

Sharky

I am bleeding.........Thank Gawd Thursday brings July. Hopefully a new month brings new hope.

Brief re-cap:

YTD 69-57 (+13.49 units)

Apr 2-1 +0.85 units
May 38-26 +12.60 units
June 29-30 +0.04 units

I narrowly.......I mean narrowly....escaped a losing June. The earlier part of the month brought much more success, but I am plugging away to make some more cash. I've noticed that a lot of people here measure things in "units", so I have transferred my record keeping to the same level. Nothing has changed for me, as 1 unit = $100, and I have been playing each game as only a solitary unit, but I agree with the measurement in "units".

Talk to everyone on Thursday.......I need the extra time to cap me some winners. ;)

Good Luck All,

Sharky.
