Can anyone help with a move to Vegas

Hey guys....I am looking to move to Las Vegas. I hear it is a hot bed for jobs. I have been in retail all of my life so that would be a perfect fit. I have been out there a few times but have not ventured off the strip. Can anyone help in any way....Tell me about the area, tell me where not to move, are there jobs out there in retail or any other field (I would love to work at a casino), also the cost iof living (Apts). Thank you in advance for any help.

I just moved to Vegas a couple of weeks ago myself. West and South are probably the best areas. Summerlin is a nice area. Apartments run about 600-800 for 1 bedroom, 2 bedrooms maybe 200-300 more. Not too sure about the jobs because I really haven't been looking.
