While I'll admit I haven't looked into this one at all but at first glance that line seems high to me for the opening game conisdering everything Colorado's gone thru this summer. Don't know much about Colorado State, but would think they could stay within a TD this early in the season.
Going to look at this one a little more.

My numbers have the Buffaloes winning by 8.
The fly in the ointment is the underdog is 11-3 ATS the last 14. Who knows the mindset of this Colorado team? The situation in Boulder could have other ugly heads to rear. Will the team circle the wagons and become stronger or will they loose focus on football or likley it is some where in between?
Sonny Lubick is deadly as a underdog. I would pass this game for now and see if any news develops.Just my opinion.

yes Van Pelt is gone (he only seemed like he was there about 10 years in my book) but the Rams have two decent/good QBs waiting in the wings. With that stability at QB all these years these guys will be pretty salty as far as first starts go. I definitely say take the Rams and the points (as of right now). CU got their revenge on CSU for the last few big wins for the CSU prg the last few years last year, but i see CSU hanging around easily and potentially winning

i know buffs have gone thru a lot this offseason, but they are 7 points better than the rams imo. much more physical team, more team speed, tho it looks like bloom is done. i would roll with cu in this one. ;)

Be careful of a wounded team, they could go either way! Sonny has had alot of teams with alot less talet than the Buffs that have hung in with them, 7 points seems loke alot to give to Sonny though!
