thanks,loop....i honestly believe that the borders,or lack of control of them and political correctness will be our downfall....

if a passenger on a plane sees a middle eastern type that they feel is acting a little strangely,they are free to voice their concern to the appropriate authority....the authorities aren`t as free to act........

if i were a muslim,and i look a little sketchy because i have some italian heritage,i would absolutely understand that i might have to be willing to endure a little extra scrutiny....be willing accept some added inconvenience for the good of the country as a whole...


we have airports that randomly check every 10th or 20th passenger regardless of whether it`s a middle aged muslim male or an 85 year old grandmother..

yet,we have people in this country that bitch and moan about having their bags checked or being searched...losing 15 minutes of their precious time....

...it`s ludicrous...it`s literally madness...when you consider the potential consequences....

Canada border around 5000 miles. Last report said about 6500 miles of all our borders have no protection. Then with all the none protect chemical and other such sites in this country. Well they get here they dont have to bring the stuff with. Also the unprotect private planes. Nothing done about them. I tell you the main air lines yes and that neat color warning is about all thats been done in 3 years. Not a hell of alot. So anytime now they can stop telling us how much safer we are. The ports thank god they are at least getting to 20% of the containers comeing in. But when theres a million a year. We better pick it up.

I don't know about that. My best friend's family came from India although he is a born and raised American, but he can come off as Muslim because of his skin color even though he's actually Hindu. While I've only flown with him a handful of times, I've yet to see a time that the "random" process has managed to skip him.

I've got no complaints about that, and to be honest, I don't think he does either as he's got nothing to hide. But while airports do pull aside the random obvious non-terrorist like an old lady in order to make it look random, I highly doubt that it actually is random.
