YTD 94-93 [+0.33]
2nd Half 16-18 (-3.16)
This Week 2-3 (-0.51)
In direct contrast to Doc's thread, I am stuck at work, drinking some sort of tar that is supposed to be coffee, and the weather is dark, dreary and rainy. Some guys have all the luck.....LOL.
Have a few for Tuesday:
SAN DIEGO PADRES (+114) I just really like the way these guys are playing right now, and they have owned San Fran this year, winning their last 6 straight versus the Giants. I like the fact the Padres lit up Schmidt last start, and although I don't expect that much damage this trip, I still think they will get to him a bit today and look for Boomer to hold his own when he toes the rubber.
NEW YORK METS (-112) The Mets are not playing very good ball right now, but Glavine takes the hill tonight, and I am looking for him to stop the bleeding. On the other side, Zach Day goes for Montreal, having never lost to the Mets at 4-0. However, one angle I have been playing a bit this year, is betting against pitchers in their second start off the DL, particularly if their first start was successful. This is sort of like the "bounce" theory in horse racing, and although I don't have concrete numbers to back it up, I have found it to play fairly true to form so far.
Still looking at a couple of others for tonight, and may add later, but better get back to business.....
Good Luck tonight All,
Sharky
