Last day of July. Summer is slipping away.... :nooo:
Few plays for tonight:
OAKLAND ATHLETICS (+118) Zito has struggled as of late, but hopefully seeing the Rangers helps turns thing around, as he is 12-1 in his career versus Texas. I like this price.
ATLANTA BRAVES (-155) I think there may be a lot of commotion in the Mets clubhouse right now, and although this would have been Benson's normal day to start, his mind may be on other things, and could have a few butterflies in his first start with the new club. Atlanta is playing real good ball right now, and Wright has been automatic lately.
ST. LOUIS CARDINALS (-134) The Cards just keep rolling and Morris has owned the Giants (1.35 ERA in 60 IP).
CARDINALS / GIANTS under 9.5 (-110) I thought this line was a little high. As mentioned earlier, Morris has been successful against SF, and other the side, although Reuter hasn't been too sporty this year, he has pitched the Cards well in his career (3.25 ERA in 130.1 IP).
Wanna play Peavy too, but I've already got too much chalk..... :nono:
Good Luck on tonight's action Fellas.
