Will a book honor a bet on a mistaken line?

I noticed this morning a reversed line that shouldnt have been posted, and I jumped on it, and now noticed the book fixed the line like it should be. My bet still currently shows pending, but do you think they will honor it or catch it? If so, will they just wait till after the game to void it or do you think they will honor it?

Smart thing to do would be to call your book and correct the mistake. Why take advantage of them. If not then maybe they will return the favor one day on a bet you make. I am sure you may call foul then. They may also give you a bonus or a free bet for your honesty. Remeber what goes around comes aorund. Thats My opinion.

You are in a VERY bad spot, if you win the game they could very well void the bet, if you lose they coudl count it, you are in a no win situation, kinda what you get for betting into a line that you knew was bad (you admitted to this in you post).

I would e-mail them before the game starts and ask for the corrected line or the bet cancelled. I promise you, you are in a no win situation here, the books are not stupid. If you really think they should honor the bet I would call them and find out one way or the other BEFORE the game starts.

If Your Playing At Cascade Sportsbook They Will Wait And See If It Wins Or Not.if It Loses The Robbers Will Take Your Money And If It Wins They Will Say No Wager.kid Take It From Me And My Past Experiences Tell Them About It Before The Game Starts Otherwise They Sportsbook Might Take A Shot At You And You Are In A No Win Situation.

Hemiscatpac Here Is What Happened To Me At Cascade Sportsbook I Bet A Celtics Game At 7.20 I Figured The Game Started At 8.05 Why Else Would Cascade Sportsbook Still Have The Line Up.well It Turns Out The Game Started At 7.05 So My Bet Was Actually Placed 15 Minutes After The Game Started So Cascade Sportsbook Sat Back Watched My Play Lose Then Tell Me We Accepted Your Bet Even Though The Game Was 15 Minutes Old And Our Rule Book Says (all Wagers Will Be Graded Up Until The Posted Starting Time Of The Event) Cascade Sportsbook Broke There Own Written Rule Book And Stole My 660 Dollars.you See Pal They Are Holding Your Money So They Will Do What They Want So Do Yourself A Favor Kid Just Call Them Ans Ask Them If Your Bet Stands Otherwise They Will Sit Back And If You Lose Take Your Money And If You Win They Will Say No Bet Because You Bet A Bad Line.

I Will Never Forget The Great Cascade Robbery Of 2003 The Day Lenny And Cascade Sportsbook Stole 660 Dollars From Me.thank God These Crooks Are Out Of Action

actually, its a good situation for me to be in as both lines were jacked up, AND they were both dogs AND i took both sides. I have no idea how the line got so jacked up, it was early this morning when they first came out, and the line was Anaheim +220 and Seattle +120. So i put a nickel on each as either way its a winner. About an hour later they fixed the lines, but my bet is still pending it shows---so I should call and tell them to void it out?

On the course!
I always call when I see a bad line. Sometimes they toss you a bone. The other day, Royal had the o/u in the Brewers game (1st 5 innings) at 35. It was obviously supposed to be 3.5

I called, informed them of the error, and they changed the line. (No bonus, of course)
