well kansas city just beat the crap out of minnesota and cleveland the last few weeks in kauffman, and both are better than chicago right now. royals are truly a dangerous home underdog at this point in the season. their season was mailed in months ago, but they play hard at home, as evidenced by taking 3 of 4 from minnesota and 2 of 3 from cleveland.

They flat out don't have the talent now. All they are playing with is heart believe it or not. Can't take the two biggest bats out of a designed power line up and then expect the manager to play small ball with what he has left. Some of the minor leaguers/role players they do have playing now out of necessity also have a small tendency to choke at times knowing they are it. Everett had a hr in his 1st game but hasn't done much since (he's been injured all year). If you go down the rest of the lineup, they cannot stand alone on their own and what talent there is can easily be pitched around. Defensively, outside of Valentine's recent F 'ups LOL, they are improved over recent years. Ozzie is also maybe trying to hard of late and is running them out of innings and runs. (and wins)

defense=adaquate/maybe better
mgr=very good (to this point)
fans=I love em :kiss:
starters=a #1, a #2, and three #5's
running=better than average in the AL
bats=NONE(was awesome and probably the best in baseball at full strength!)
