Have to agree on Cal since their defense is a little shaky but how can they have Auburn as a overrated team? Last year they were overrated I dont really think anyone is really expecting them to do much this year so there should be alot less pressure.

Isn't Auburn ranked #18 in the ESPN/USA Today Preseason Coaches Poll??????

Isn'[t Auburn ranked #11 in the The CFN Preseason Top 25????

Isn't Auburn ranked #19 in the Cbs Sports Top 25?????

I guess expecting a team to finish in the top 20 or even 11th is not expecting too much.

As for the article saying CAL might be over-rated I def. can see it. They def. are getting a lot of hype. However, if you return most of your starters from last years team and you have a great coach, don't you think you will see improvement? Especially when one of those starters is a top 5 QB in the country!

Missouri def. is my choice for the #1 most over-rated team in the country.

West Virginia will be the most over-rated bowl team this season.

How can this article have Maryland under-rated?
Maryland is ranked #20 in the ESPN/USA Today Preseason Coaches Poll. I think that is VERY FAIR especially since Maryland will be starting a new QB. Does this guy feel Maryland should be pre-season top 10?

I think an under-rated team might be ND!

Once again Scott misses a point that went completely over his head as Iwas comparing Auburn to last yer when they were hyped to be a National Title contender and flopped! This year they are not expected to even win their division in the SEC and 18th is pretty close to where they should end up!

Scott, you are placing way too much emphasis on the QB position, while this position is a key position it is not a indicator of how a team will fare. I would say Cal's defense should be improved but by how much I dont know? Being ranked as the 79th best defense you could only expect Cal to show some improvement but just because they have returning players does not mean that they will be vastly improved as these returning players obviouslly have some holes in their game or they would not of been ranked that low.

I tend to agree with you on Maryland but by only focusing on one position as your rational for why Maryland will struggle makes no sense as the system the head coach using on offense has a much greater bearing on the ability of the team to rebound quickly!

West Virgina has a great chance to run the table and cause headaches for the front runners if they should slip because of their schedule and also they have one of the best offensive minds in college football calling the shots!

Notre Dame will be a bowl team this year!

Its funny how scott wont step up and reply to my post about posting his picks against my picks as the start of college football he is obviously scared and does not want people ripping his picks when he losed over 75% of games every week what a joke :142lmao: :moon:

Mizzou will be beneficiaries of a nice schedule, probably only 2 losses assuming they dont quite have what it takes to win in Lincoln, like always in the past, but who knows about the Huskers (I think NU will do quite well as season goes on). Mizzou a lock to lose at UT. Every other game very very winnable. Can coast in a few. MU defense has very talent LB corps , very underrrated IMO). Pinkel can recruit and is doing just that. MU definitely a team on rise IMO. Their trip thru Big 12 South is a good dodge except for at Austin with OSU in Columbia.

K State lot more difficult road conference schedule wise but usual dormats OOC. MU will win the North. OU will nip the Cats in the Liter Box and both A&M and CU get KSU at College Station and Boulder. It will be interesting to see what kind of lines MU will get in Vegas and if there is any value there. No doubt MU defense will be much improved and the schedule helps. No more Gage on offense but I agree with the article OL is weak so we shall see about MU
