I'm going to go with what has been working. Everret had a homer yesterday, may have shot his load, and Konerko has done poorly against the knuckler. This leaves Lee and Valentine. Valentin has struggled against Wakefield, with five hits in 25 at-bats and nine strikeouts. Ozzie is also using Harris, Gload, and Perez. Gload also did his thing yesterday with a hr (another load shot) and the other two shouldn't be playing full time at this level yet.
Contreras has been doing well in another uni and with another mgr. I think this is his 1st time East since the trade and I think he will like to show some people the new version. It's being said around here that they have cleared up his "minor" problem of giving away his pitches and he looks very strong IMO.
Think many will be thinking the Over is free money in this one at 10 and with Wakefield coming off a shelling even though he got the victory over Detroit and Contreras not so good in Boston. I don't even think many of the White Sox hitters have seen a knuckler ever or at least not in some time.
I may play the (White) Sox here as well. Boston just hit their high water mark for the season and Contreras may do better against a Nomarless lineup. The non-power hitting lineup of the WS may just be what is needed for contact against this pitcher.
Buck each
Under 10 is a definite
(F*ck it)White Sox as well +the big wood
