colorado and pittsburgh under 9 (+100)
pirates coming off an emotional series with san francisco, and they really struggle with left handed pitching. fassero is a billion years old, but he is still effective and the pirates .249 avg. vs lefties is less than stellar. meanwhile, kip wells is coming off arguably his best performance of the year last weekend in san diego (2 outs away from a complete game, 1 run allowed on just 4 hits). im just not seeing a lot of runs here. we all know how night and day colorado is when it comes to coors/road. the numbers this year are staggering (.307 team avg at home vs. just .242 on the road). thats hard to fathom but true. aside from todd helton, theres only one guy hitting above .275 on the road. game time temperature is going to be really cool (low 60s) so i dont see the ball carrying very much either. im really hitting this play hard. if it misses, ill just move on to starting my college football capping. really like this total though.
