Holy crap. I thought they might lose a game or two...but not this badly, right off the bat. 49-27 barely into the 3rd Q???

Announcer: "Let's see if Puerto Rico can withstand the pressure now"

How stupid can these announcers be???

"When you don't put points on the board, you allow teams to stay close to you. And that's how upsets happen".

No shit Doug Collins! Brilliant!!!

Close to you? It's not close, you're getting your asses kicked!!

hilarious as I said earlier; the looks on their faces late on bench remindful of bullies being exposed

i feel sorry for the coaches who thought they could make a difference with any team AI plays on and cookie cutter clones who can't make wide open shots; just an absolute joke and joy to me to be honest--maybe USA will take stock that we dont play game right anymore

Olympic basketball is the rebutal to anyone that thinks players SHOULD leave college early:

Iverson
Marion
Marbury
Carmelo
Lebron
Odem
Stoudemire
Wade
Jefferson
Boozer
Okafor -did receive his degree but left after 3 years

Duncan is the only player on the US team to play his full career in college. I think UConn or Duke could beat this team.

I'm going to post this same reply under my original thread in Gen forum "USA Basketball"

Glad to see the early jump to the pros doesn't dilute the talent pool in the NBA :banghead:
