Ravens (+3) over Eagles
Much is being said about the Eagles offense playing the first half, but so is the Ravens defense. IMO the Ravens are as strong and quick as New England on defense. Eagles are banged up on defense and Balt can take advantage rushing the ball. With all the injuries on the eagles Reid may have a quick pull if he see's the Raven defense very aggressive with his needed players.
It is a toss up after half with the back-ups playing but I still have to give the edge to the ravens 2nd string defense. A solid Baltimore special teams will get their hands on rookie return man for the eagles. At QB the eagles are struggling with Blake after McNabb goes out.
TB (+3) over JAX
Without a kicker to depend on, JAX had a tough time putting points on the board against Miami. JAX o-line will have a tough time with the d front. The loss of Henderson will hurt the Jags up front and in the middle, a place gruden loves to run. Back-up Simms showed he can control the offense and be productive. No back-up on JAX has shown that ability.
Vikings (+1) over Falcons
Offense of the Vikings will give Atl fits. Rookie Hall will get a big test vs a little bit better offense then Baltimore. Minn has three capable backs and 2 QB's. They can manage the game and be productive. Vick should get some more playing time but the Vikes defense has upgraded with speed. Should be a very offensive game in the first and second. After Vick goes out the offense struggled last week even though Schaub looked good at QB.
***Tough games, all three are road dogs and the home teams have been the winners in a high % of preseason games.
