The Cubs got a taste of the offense their lineup puts out when Nomar isn't in it yesterday. Grudzlwhatever is maybe taking todays game off if Baker can swing it. I would think Walker would be his replacement and that would actually be an improvement at the plate. Woods coming off a suspension with a Cub team that may still be kicking dirt over yesterdays loss. He may give up some runs, esp early, in this park as he gets his pitching feet back under him. Houston has been able to hit him in the past and may do better today after coming off seeing Pryor.

off the net...
Over is 8-3 in last eleven Astro games, 9-5 in last 15 Cub games, 10-4 last fourteen Oswalt starts.
WOOD is 10-3 OVER when playing on Sunday

Will play the White Sox tonight as they try to avoid the sweep. Garcia has had a couple bad outings in a row and doesn't pitch well at night period. I think he'll get it together after watching the rest of the starters get shelled of late. It will almost be like destiny as the game was originally scheduled for the afternoon, but was moved to a night start by ESPN. The offense seems to like playing at home and should bring enough tonight for a Garcia W. They scored 8 in a loss in his last start.

off the net...
Lowe has 7.83 RA his last eleven starts; Boston lost five of his last six road starts.

I think we will see more of a playoff type game here in Minny. So far this series Minny has been scoring well but didn't do so well in Cleveland last week. Off the Tribe website Sabathia has been an over emotional player at times in his last two starts and should have his head straight to try and stop this slide. Radke hasn't pitched well in his long career against the Tribe but did very well against this lineup earlier this year. Both may shut the other down or at least one will this game IMO. At the same time, neither of these offenses are juggernauts.

off the net...
Under is 3-0 last three Sabathia starts

(lines from always my local)
Risking...
$240 to win $200 Over Cubs/Stro's (7-)
$240 to win $200 White Sox straight
$240 to win $200 Under Clev/Minny 8

Bring it home Spider!

Bring it home Spider!

GL to you!

I'll be at the game. Going to try to sit in the patio area of the Bullpen Sports Bar behind the right field fence. I'll be the tall cat (with glasses) wearing a Sox jersey with the Spanish girlfriend wearing hers. We both took off tomorrow so I'll be doing quality control on all the beers as the game goes along.

Throwing some action on Fl with Pavano.

off the net...
-Pavano has excelled on the road this season, posting an 8-1 mark with a 3.24 ERA in 12 starts. The Marlins are 10-2 in those games.

-Padres lost ten of their last fourteen home games.

-- Under is 9-3-2 last fourteen Danley games, with the favorite 13-2 in his last fifteen behind plate (Fla-SD)

risking $140 to win $100 Fl straight
