Ah, Friday.........I was getting worried about you. Didn't know if you were coming this week..... :toast:
Not a lot of original thought in this one, but here we go for Friday afternoon:
CHICAGO CUBS (-139) Looking for Wood to help keep the Cubbies rolling. Besides, if (and when) Houston gets behind, they will be disappointed to realize that it's not the Phillies they're playing anymore.....
TIGERS / RED SOX over 10.5 (-110) Looking for a slugfest in this one, as Maroth has had NO success in his career against the BoSox, and although Lowe's career numbers versus the Tigers are impressive, he wasn't very good against them this year, and he continues to be prone to the long ball and the big inning.
ANAHEIM ANGELS (-122) Riding your back Rex. Minnesota is in a bit of a funk right now.
And, oh, how I want to bet the Brewers tonight, but the Phillies just have this way of enjoying giving me one of these :142hump: , so I'll have to pass..... :cursin:
Think I'll get my feet wet in some preseason NFL tonight as well.
