Tom Seaver kept commenting during The Met Broadcast that he seems to think that there may be something wrong with Alvarez that hasn't been disclosed.

if you saw alvarez's last couple starts he has been flat, nothing on his pitches. he got rocked last week at montreal and it wasnt like they were punch and judy hits, he was giving shots all over the field, something may be wrong because he doesnt look sharp at all. dont forget he is old enough to be our dad, guys been around for awhile.

Kennedy tagged up at second on David Eckstein's one-out fly to the left-field warning track, and Stewart started jogging in with his head down as Kennedy alertly scampered home for an unorthodox sacrifice fly.

Darin Erstad followed with an RBI double and scored on Vladimir Guerrero's broken-bat single before Anderson chased Radke with his 10th home run, giving the Angels a 9-2 lead.
