or maybe open an office across the river since we are eighth. I've driven in South Dakota and Wyoming before. I would say it would be very easy to fall asleep as boring as those drives are.

Killing yourself is a viable alternative as opposed to driving thru the entire state of Wyoming. Or Nebraska.

May I add Kansas to that list. The only things to see in that state is the worlds secondl largest ball of twine and Dr. Freeze's double wide with the Redman tobacco roof.

65, I am licensed in the commonwealth. As a matter of fact, I had my largest case in Kenton county. Love you guys, except of course, Mitch McConnel, Jim Bunning and Wayne.

Driving through South Dakota is a fascinating experience. Billboards from one end of the state to the other. Exactly HOW far are we from Wall Drug now??

People probably get so sick of reading those Wall Drug billboards they get a case of road rage and plow into one of those signs.

Anyone who's been to this state will know what I mean.

When I drove out there for my job interview two years ago, it was my first time in the state. I couldn't believe the signs, and I didn't even get halfway to Wall. But then the first time I drove out to Deadwood, and actually drove past there, it was just like, "Damn... the folks at Wall Drug certainly aren't shy about advertising."

Worst part is, the place completely sucks. Cross the freeway and you're at an enterence to drive through the Badlands. There's like a total of five signs for that, and it's awesome.

Ed- Good call on Kansas, as well. Made the north/south drive through there twice in June. Lots of fun, I tell you.

Eddie, do u have any experience with (health) insured clients suing their insurer for not paying legit bills or taking so long to do it that the client is threatened collection and has to spend a multitude of hours on the phone trying to get things paid? I really don't like all the frivolous lawsuits going around, but I think I have a case. Ever hear of one like this?

Yes I do. It's called a bad faith claim. If your insurer intentionally and wrongfully witholds payment of a legitimate claim then you can file a bad faith claim against your insurer.

65, you illustrate a point that I have been trying to make on these boards for years, that is, the general public seems to have been conditioned by the insurance companies and their allies that lawsuits, by their nature, are frivolous.

Contrary to what your fellow Bowling Greenite might think, most lawyers turn down the majority of cases that walk in their office. I should only speak for myself however.

I think it is telltale of our society as to how almost your apologetically brought up the problem you were having with your carrier. It's interesting that you feel this way. Not to single you out but I think society generally feels the way you do.

This is a great example of how the insurance industry propoganda machine has conditioned people to be afraid to make a claim. And gee wilikers, guess who is taking advantage of it.
