I just saw that the Buckeyes are 15 1/2 point favorites to defeat my Bearcats this saturday at the horseshoe. Yours truly will be attending (flask in back pocket of jeans) in Columbus.
Frankly, I urge all of you to try and obtain tickets to attend this historic event as for the first time in over 80 years the Buckeyes will go down to defeat to an Ohio team.
Yes, you heard it first here, six days before kickoff, that I, yes I, predict that the University of Cincinnati Bearcats will not only cover this paltry 15 1/2 point spread but, in actuality and reality, defeat the Ohio State University Buckeyes in there very own backyard.
If you will recall, last year, I predicted that my beloved and winless Cincinnati Bengals would not only cover but defeat the undefeated Kansas City Chiefs at Paul Brown Stadium. As you all know, I was correct and that victory launched the Bengals to there fabulous 8-8 record.
Since that time, the great Eddie has not made any predictions. I prefer picking quality games infrequently rather then numerous games on a daily basis to satisfy the insatiable cravings of the average gambler. Spot plays, well thought out, and in the right circumstances are the keys to winning at this gambling game.
I look to stretch my record to 2-0. F*** the points, Bearcats on the moneyline. I will be there for the play by play. I have so much confidence in this pick that I am posting it in the general discussion forum as opposed to the ncaa football forum. That fact I can plausibly deny that I was serious and say I was kidding if the bearcats lose by posting in this thread as opposed to the real thread, should not be considered by you in placing the value of your childs college tuition on the cats.
