I havent had a single problem with mine. It did go down for about 10 days the day I bought it. The pansat was the last to have the fix released. I believe the blackbird came back up 1st. Even though it was down I could still get all the locals, hbo..cinemax..etc. Even 2 porn channels :clap: .
I have been up and running since the day the fix came out so everything is open now including the PPV. On the 110 sat (the only one I am aiming at) I did the scan and came up with 533 channels. I knocked it down to 80 channels because most of them were locals.
It worked so good for me that my parents ordered one. I already realigned there dish to get the 110 sat so all I have to do is reprogram and plug it in.
Usually when people cant find a sat they are doing something wrong..its not with the reciever.
I dont know anything about the silver bullet but when you get it hooked up let me know how it is. Also be careful on how much money you spend on getting this set up because nothing lasts forever. All it would take for this to come to a halt is for Dish and Bev to change over to cards and then you will only get the free channels. I figure they will do it sooner or later but it will take a long time to switch out there reg customers.
