YTD 1-0

Playing three games:

Turd Pies:

Cocks -4....lots of respected people around here on Vandy. Cutler is a badass, but that is about it. Give me Holtz, a stong running game and a solid defense. I think Vandy is over-rated and USC is under-rated. I hope i am right.

Sonners -32....not sold on Bowling Green :142lmao: Chances are the men of Green will not score more than once, if at all. Will Okie's Peterson live up to the hype? I dont care really but i do see Okla winning this one huge 49-10

Smelly Beavers +18'...i know a bunch of folks are on OSU, so i dont like that very much. Under Saban LSU has lost a nonconference game in even years 00 and 02( Va Tech and UAB)...Will this stand up with a loss to the Beavers? If it isnt to OSU i sure as hell dont think it will be to Arky St or the men from Troy st. LSU is real good! Vincent and Green are all SEC players. I dont see this one being close like the angle suggests, yet i am seeing a backdoor cover by the smelly beavers.

With the start of a new football season i think it is only fair to let the members know my past for the year. I love football the most of all sports, but my handicapping would not reflect that. I pride myself in the NBA and MLB capping. I have had a very solid yr in these two sports.

MLB posted record: 71-50-1 +2797

NBA posted record 129-87-5 +4228

I only play until i reach a personal goal. I was absent from bases for aboutthe last two months of the season and i didnt play the last month of the NBA. I feel more comfortable quiting while ahead. The football turds tend to be shitty at times so be wary! GL to you all for the whole year!

Very impressive records in MLB and NBA -- especially NBA, I think that's a very difficult league to cap.

Good luck with the football plays buddy!

Thanks for the kind words guys. Buddy, not quite sure about this "tall cotton" reference, i am either really dumb or this one went over my head.

Rebel21, Auburn plays this weekend against the fighting injins from La Monroe. Laying 39 is a ton of points with our 4 offensive CO in as many years. Will this new offense work? Any offense would work against LA Monroe. I do think we will open it up big time this year. I am not sold on our defense this year. We lost five players to the NFL last year and have to replace them all. That is a tall order unless you are Miami. If La Monroe scores once the 39 points will be right on IMO. Caddy should not play more than 1 half and neither should Campbell. We will still be very capable of putting up many points with our second teamers. I would lay no more than 34 in this one. GL

Here in AU,

Heard some news that Brandon Cox will be playing early and often. Campbell had the flu last week and I don't expect him to play much. Cox has looked good in all the scrimmages I have been too. Auburn still might beat them by 50 but I agree with wareagle, look for Tub to keep the team healthy for MSU and LSU. Look for defense to play a lot of guys to get them experience as well. La Monroe's RB is pretty good from what I hear and I expect the front seven to be somewhat shaky. Not betting on this game but my guess would be AU by 31 to 35

La Monroe is consistently one of the worst teams in college football. If I were a betting man, I'd go with Auburn to cover. I'm not playing this game, but let's just say I'd never bet real money on La Monroe.

First off WDE!!!

Second, Bama6895--shouldn't you be studying tax law? see you next weekend sweetheart

Third, I think AU should cover the number this weekend for a couple of reasons.

1. Even after Caddy and Ronnie sit out, we still have Tre Smith, Carl Stewart, etc. to run the ball all afternoon.

2. Although they won't show much, they should execute the plays they do run.

3. They beat these guys 73-7 last year. I think AU scores at least 56 and gives up no more than 14.

JMO.

good luck to all of you this season.

adding two more turds:

UAB -14....This is the most improved team in CUSA. Coach Brown will have this team ready against the bears. Watch for this team to pull some upsets this year against a Louisville or a Memphis. This one should not be close, looking for a 31-10 type of game.

Auburn -31
