My wife & I are staying in Sedona for 3 days & we have 1 day to kill before going up to Las Vegas & would like to know the best place to stay in Laughlin. 1st. week in Oct. Thanks

Golden Nugget is pretty small. I would either go to the Flamingo or Harrahs. Harrahs is more of a younger crowd - a little rowdier, but lots of girls in bikinis and they have their own beach. Flamingo is more like a Vegas place. Couldn't go wrong with either.
Been to Harrah's alot though it has been over two years since the last time. If no major changes, generally friendly casino dealers, an entire non-smoking casino, on weekends a younger crowd as mention during summer weekends but older during the week. Also a children free tower if you have no kids with you. Food decent but buffets and resturants not on par with Vegas overall. I like it there. Good luck!
Thanks JT & Ferdville think we are going to the Flamingo.. can't believe how cheap the rooms are during the week. Staying at the Monte Carlo in Vegas usually stay at Treasure Island or Harrahs but the rates were too high or on full.
