I hurt right now. I feel awful for Coach Bowden and Ann.

QUINCY, Fla. - A former son-in-law and a grandson of Florida State football coach Bobby Bowden were killed in a rain-slicked collision with a Texas utility truck heading into the state to help with Hurricane Frances power outages, the Florida Highway Patrol said Monday.
John Allen Madden, 45, a former Florida State lineman who was coached by Bowden, and his 15-year-old son, Bowden Madden, of Shalimar were killed instantly in the Interstate 10 collision Sunday night when the passenger side of their car hit the front of the truck, said FHP Lt. Robert Mills.
Seconds before, the Maddens' car bumped a van as the two were heading west side by side. Both vehicles veered across the highway median. The pavement was wet as the outer bands of the massive storm system swirled across the Florida Panhandle, Mills said.
The van carrying Larry Maines, 52, and his wife Margaret, 49, of Crestview ended up in the woods. The Maineses suffered minor injuries and were not hospitalized, Mills said. Truck driver Danny Headley, 45, of Poolville, Texas, was not injured.
John Madden and Bowden's daughter Ginger, an Okaloosa County prosecutor, divorced in January after a 22-year marriage. Mills said Bowden's family had been informed of the deaths.
"Most of us have been around all of the Bowden family a great deal, and it is a loss shared by all of us," Florida State athletic director Dave Hart said in a statement issued by the school. "Words can't express the grieving I know the Bowdens are going through."
The Seminoles are scheduled to open their season Friday at Miami in a game that was postponed from Monday by Frances.
No criminal charges have been filed.
