my computer freezes up......

i had this problem a few months ago & was told that i had a virus.somebody at the forum sent me to site to correct it, but unfortunately i forgot the name of the site.


any help would be greatly appreciated.

AR, I tried this one the other night http://www.pandasoftware.com/activescan/com/activescan_principal.htm It took it a while to download, but it found all sorts of stuff and FIXED it on the spot instead of trying to make me pay for a subscription to get it fixed. Best one I've ever used.
