Watched UT game and was impressed by improved Defense, and aggressive play calling on that side of the ball. I know that they played UNT, but their run stopping ability seems to have improved. Players are pumped about game and the chance for revenge after taking a beating last year. Plus Arkansas lost 16 starters. I'm taking Texas -10.5 (2 units).

I think you're taking the right side here. I LOVE the Longhorns in this game....I have it as one of my highest rated plays for the weekend. That Ark score was a fluke against NMST...their offense really didn't do shit. I was impressed with the TX rushing attack as they will run all over the Hogs and pound them up front and I also expect some long balls downfield for a a couple scores as well as they really didn't get into the action much against NTX. Throw a little revenge from last year and you have yourself a solid play in my opinion. I know ARK is like 7-1 ats as a dog under Nutt at home, but TX just has way too much here.....GL to us!!

On paper, Texas should pound them. But of course we know when the chip are down the defense turns to paper. Texas did run the ball extremely well Saturday, but Young's throwing was not too impressive. Completion percentage was good thanks to dump offs, but he missed several open receivers and they didnt throw any deep balls at all. Hogs are returning almost nobody from last year but they have young talent and Fayetnam is a tough place for sure. I just cant justify a bet on either side here.
